Fall Basketball Leagues are Forming

Coaches the time to act is now for youth basketball.  As school is starting, Fall Basketball Leagues are starting to form.  One such league that will be starting up in the Chicagoland area is Jaguar Basketball.  The league which will begin August 25, 2012 and runs for 5 weeks, ending October 6, 2012.  Each team will play two games each week for a total of 10 games.  Individual awards for each player for the top teams in each division.  For more information contact Allen Dandridge at 312-498-6934.

Whitney Young 3-on-3 Tournament

Whitney Young Boy’s Basketball Booster’s Club is sponsoring a 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 11am-5pm at 211 S. Laflin, Chicago IL.  The entry fee is $30 per team. Divisions are by age, and the tournament is for kids age 12-19.  Prized will be awarded. The deadline to register is September 17, 2012.  To register email

  • Name of Team and Captain
  • Each team can be comprised of 4 players
